Types of data processed
Browsing data
The IT systems and the software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified Data Subjects, but by its very nature could allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc..) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment. These data are exclusively used to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its proper functioning and are deleted immediately after the processing. The data could also be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
Data freely provided by the user
The optional, explicit, and voluntary submission of personal data by the user in the registration forms on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of data provided by the sender, necessary for the provision of the requested service. The collected data will be kept – for each type of processed data – exclusively for the time necessary to fulfil the specific purposes indicated in the specific summary information notices displayed on the pages of the site and prepared for particular services.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and the user’s terminal (usually the browser). They are mainly used for the purpose of operating websites and making them operate more efficiently, as well as for the purpose of providing information to the owners of the site. Cookies can be both session and persistent cookies. Session cookies remain stored in the terminal for a short period of time and are deleted as soon as the user closes the browser. Their use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow a safe and efficient browsing of the site. Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain stored in the user’s terminal until a set deadline. Since they are not deleted directly when the browser is closed, they make it possible to remember the choices made by the user on the site and to collect information about the webpages visited by the user, the frequency with which the site is visited and to identify the user’s navigation path, in order to improve the browsing experience on this site. Session or persistent cookies may be First Party or Third Party cookies, depending on whether the person who installs them on the user’s terminal is the same operator of the site that the user is visiting (we will then be referring to First Party cookies) or a different subject (we will then be referring to Third Party cookies).
Below, a detailed description of the cookies used:

The discretionary nature of data provision

Specific security measures are implemented in order to prevent data loss, illicit and incorrect employment of data, and unauthorized accesses. Sharing, communication and dissemination of data
The collected data can be transferred or communicated to other companies for activities strictly connected and instrumental to the efficiency of the service, such as the management of the information system. The personal data provided by the users who ask for literature (brochure, leaflets, etc..) are used solely to carry out the service or performance required and are communicated to third parties only if it’s needed for such purpose (companies that take care of packaging, labelling, shipment). Apart from these cases, personal data won’t be either communicated or granted to anybody, unless it’s provided by the agreement or authorized by the subjects. In this case, personal data could be sent to third parties, but only if: a) there is an explicit consent to share the data with third parties; b) the information must be shared with third parties in order to carry out the service required; c) it’s needed to meet requests by the Judicial or Public Security Authority. No data deriving from the web service will be disseminated.
